  • Slipcore is a studio workshop modeled after the legacy of early surfboard shapers and their surf huts right on the beach, innovation guided by the waves at point blank. Every piece is straight-from-the-heart cut, layered, finished by hand, and then almost immediately ridden by the locals.

    Here, each mat is treated as a tool, an interface, not an accessory. Material selection, thickness, glide, float, and feel are tuned for real-world function. These are designed to serve as the unique layer between music and machine, not just an afterthought or add on.

CS-1

The Cheater Slick (aka The CS-1) is your first layer of based interface. Crafted from 4mm of industrial felt — thicker than standard slipmats and then heat treated for maximum softness and slide. This is where your record collection started it's journey with basic black felt mats, but ours are really silky soft. Black designer-lux felt base with one-color screen printing.
